TE 802 Reflect & Inquiry Teaching Practices
Spring 2009 Instructor Judy Tompson
Course Description:
This course provided me with an insight into inquiry. I planned an extensive language arts unit that I taught to my second grade class during my student teaching. During this unit, I learned to reflect on my teaching and planning. In order to find ways to improve my teaching strategies. I also, realized how important it is to pre and post assess students as I collect data of my teaching. It was very helpful as I determined my students' understanding.
While planning, I was required to meet the academic and social needs of all 31 of my students through differentiating my instruction. As well as being accountable to the Grade Level Content Expectations. TE 802 allowed me to gain experience with collecting data, gathering feedback from my peers and instructor, planning and assessing,.
